    Had a NSD yesterday! :j

As I was dismanteling a wardrobe last night I found 20p!! I'm going to put it in a big Whisky bottle that I used to put pennies in. This can be my change pot and when its full I will bank the money in my savings account.

It's my OHs Bday next month so I have to think of a nice pressie on a budget. Could make him dinner? Thinking me and DS will bake him a cake too.

Had a low spend day yesterday. Spent 60p on a bottle of Dr Pepper! Had a fizzy drink craving!!

Get paid tomorrow and I'm actually looking forward to starting my first full months spending diary!:o
  • So far today I have spent £9.99. Had to get a passport for DS. Spent £4 in one booth on photos, went to post office for the form and she said the photos can't be used!! So I went to a photo shop who did them for £5.99. So annoyed, I didn't know this shop did passport photos! He took loads then chose the one which would be ok.

Hey ho, had to be done. Not getting the passport til Feb though and might get OH to pay for it!!

    Morning!

So I got paid today (:D ). But I'm a bit peeved! I worked SOOO hard in dec/jan, and put in a lot of extra time etc... And I only got an extra £30 after tax.

I was expecting at least £100. Sometimes its hardly worth doing overtime as you lose most of it to the f***ing taxman!

    RAAHHHH

Oh what a shame on the OT money. how disappointing! Could they have made a nistake? Have you checked how many hours they have paid you foe and if it tallies with what you actually worked?

You're doing so well. Is the passport for your son needed for a holiday you've got coming up? Something to look forward to?

  • I haven't got my payslip yet as I don't start til 1PM today. Checked it online though! Am definately going to compare. Seems like all the data entry I do in the mornings, evenings and weekends is for nothing! I hate tax.

Me and OH are meant to be going to my close friends wedding in France in April. OH has now said he won't know if he's coming til March due to work commitments. So if he doesn't come I'm taking DS instead. If OH does come, my mum will have DS. Its for 3/4 days. Found some cheap hotels in Paris for 30 euros a night!

Haven't had a holiday for 4 years! I think I deserve a small break! Don't worry I'll be doing it the DFW way!!!

    Had a NSD today! YAY!!

Waiting for OH to give me his share of the months bills etc, hopefully can pay it in tomorrow!

At work we have a dress down day on a Friday - wear jeans trainers etc... But we have to pay £1 which goes to charity to do it.

Is it really bad if I stop dressing down? That way I'll save £4 or £5 a month(depending how many fridays there are) I only feel bad as it goes to charity, but that £4 or £5 could be put towards something else!!

Having such a bad day today!

First my DS puts soap in his hair 5 mins before we need to leave for nursery/work.

Then after that I drop sweetcorn all over the damn kitchen floor! So have to hoover as I can't leave it there all day!

Then I get to work and have SOOO much to do its stupid.

Then on the way home some idiot has a go at me in my car cos I beeped at someone who was blocking the damn road! He came up to my window and said "they've broken down stop beeping" I was soooo angry, how the hell am I supposed to know that I can't see through 3 cars can I idiot, i'm not psychic.

Anyway I feel like I need some vodka!!
