does anyone know how long to wait before applying for a new card after you have closed a previous account.
i'm thinking of hsbc which my last deal i closed in feb 07.

I'm pretty sure that when I closed my HSBC card last year over the phone the c/s agent told me I wouldn't be able to reapply for 12 months. Most cards work between 6-12 months.0

Check the terms and conditions of the deal. Some say you can't have held the same product within the last 6 or 12 months.0
