Trangia users advice please

Hi folks,

I have just acquired a Trangia 27, but it has only one pan which looks as though it is a graded / inner pan as it has a slightly rounded bottom.

So, I am on the lookout for another pan and kettle to add to the set.

Can any one tell me whether I need to get an outer pan (ungraded) or will another graded/inner pan fit inside the one I have already so that the set will pack up properly.

Hope you follow me - any advice gratefully received.

If you have the outer pan with the pan clips and the base that supports the burner, it doesn't matter what pan you use.Just try different ones.
I have several trangias and have collected various charity shop pans/bowls etc which I pick and choose to suit the trip.
Tesco have a small kettle that might fit inside. Millets do aluminium dishes etc. I also include a very small wooden spatula and very small wooden spoon that fit inside the kettle. I even have a microwave very thin plastic bowl that fits between two pans, absolutely ideal. I also cut up a circle from a lakeland flimsy chopping surface protector, so that I didn't gouge the aluminium when chopping or slicing.
    Hope that helps
