T-mobile won't send me my call transcript.
I upgraded my mobile phone with t mobile in march last year. when I asked for " A nokia phone with bluetooth, an fm radio and a camera . On a 12 month contract." I then went away for 2 weeks. on my return I had recieved a Sony erricson 510 on a 18 month contract!!!!! .I phoned t-mobile only to be told "the notes say 18 months and sony erricson.and its over 2 weeks so we can't do a thing" after some to-ing and fro-ing I was told "call back after about 12 months and we will see what we can do."
Just called back and guess what NO DEAL!!! and to add insult was told I can't have a transcript of the conversation because they're not kept.
surly the calls are kept as evidence of a verbal conrtact??
anyone help PLEASE.;)

you can request to see all data held on file about you. usually there is a charge for this and you may have to wait around about a month or so for it but due to data protection act you have a right to see any info held on file about you. i would call back and request to speak to a manager. the call may not have been recorded as not all calls are captured but if you have made a call then the advisor you spoke to should have made notes on your account as to what the call was about and what was done/advisedThe only thing worse than being talked about is not being talked about - Oscar Wilde:beer:

the contract was verbal-you would have recieved written confirmation along with the phone explaining your rights, after 14 days... its tough luck i'm afraid.
£20 gets you a full copy of all data kept, but calls are not kept forever if recorded at all.0 -
They won't have kept a recording of a call from that long ago (assuming it was even recorded to start with, they don't record every single call). Best you can get is a transcript of the notes on the account, but as an advisor has already told you that it is an 18 month contract, it must say this in the notes, so that won't really help much.
Unfortunately you are only covered by a 14 day cooling off period:T-Mobile sent you out written confirmation of the tariff along with the T&Cs, it is your responsibility to ensure that you check these within the cooling off period.I accept no liability if you chose to rely on my advice.0 -
Never mind 6 phone calls later (1 a day for 6 days) and t-mobile caved in and sent me a NOKIA 6120 and only to see me to the end of my contract in september so its all good i suppose .I will be checking all the paperwork in future though!!Proud to be dealing with my debts
