flight checkers-the best times

hello All!

Does anyone have nay experience as to when is the best tiem to be on a flightchecker looking for flights. this is just my observation but last night whislt i was browsing the net the flights i wanted were £640, however 4 hours later at 2am they had dropped to £415. however this morning, when i woke up, the flights had jumped up again in cost. is this a common thing that late at night flights are cheaper? kicking myself now that i have to pay over £200 more.

thanks everyone.

ps if anyone knows oof cheap flights from barcelona to orlando in march then tell me about it please!!!

Airlines operate a fluid pricing system so the prices can be subject to change

  • This is a normal thing for different holiday websites. The reason behind is that the maintenance happens whilst most of us sleep. Moreover 12 am is the time when the prices change as well.
Mind you, it is not going to happen everywhere and at the same time, but you stand a good chance for a bargain that way.

I found the same thing, was researching a booking all evening, finally got the go ahead from everyone involved just after midnight, only to find the airline we wanted suddenly wasn't listed. The deal was back on the next morning, so I guess they'd taken their system offline for maintenance overnight. Since then I've always tried to book during the day or early evening, as you can't know when different companies do their maintenance and wouldn't want to miss out on deals!
