Erm - a question... asked in good faith, honest :)

Is this the batter mix that you have to add an egg and some milk to?

Because if it is - check the ingredients people list above! If you are having to add the egg and the milk... all that's in the packet is flour and salt! Unless they throw in a few E-numbers for fun.

If you have a packet handy I'd be intrigued to see the ingredients list :)

i always have a pack in the cupboard in case i don't have enough milk or having a bad batter day :)

you make with 1 egg and 200ml of cold water

ingredients wheat flour, dried skimmed milk and salt

though this has been sat there awhile i now freeze all my milk and cos of the BM have dried milk in the cupboard

OK, so they've put in milk powder - so instead of adding an egg and milk you have to add an egg and water. :)

Hmm... still sounds like a rip off to me. Maybe I'm just a grumpy old git :)

  • i use half milk and half water. 1 egg. beat them together and start adding flour a spoonful at a time while beating 9witht he electric beater)until i get a runny but just holding shape consistency to the liquid. makes perfect yorkies. if it gets too thick a little more milk/water.
