Cheap Accommodation

Hello
Im new so take it easy please! Id like some help if possible...

Me and 3 of My Mates are after cheap accomodation for this Week end. We are going away for the night to ANYWHERE in the North West (Ish) ie, Liverpool, Leeds, Newcastle Etc.

We Are looking for as Cheap as poss accommodation. Even if we stay in the same room.

Please could someone bring a few suggestions forward.

It used to be a Formule 1 (which I stayed at a few times) but I see now it's called Metro Inn.

Hostels!! That is your answer

They are priced per bed, the YHA in Manchester is in a good location and although i've never stayed there i've been told its nice.

the one in Liverpool is also in a good central location, again never been there but its brand new.

if you google hostel or YHA you will find something, along with reviews (trip advisor) and online booking.

I recommend Liverpool - Capital of culture and all, should be something fun going on. Try the Liverpool 08 site for stuff to do.

There is also a formula 1 hotel (i think its spelt slightly different) this is 3 to a room and shared bathroom, but quite cheap, it gets booked up quite quickly.
