Just started entering competitons.

Hi everyone
I've just started entering competitions in the past week.
I was wondering how many comps you find yourselves entering per day in order to win things regularly enough?
Also what's been your best win so far and how long did it first take before you won something?

I try and enter about 50 a day with a catch up on the weekend - try as I might I can never catch up on them all.

I havent done too well this month but November and December were good months for me. It was about three weeks after I started that I had my first win, My best win - I think was a bunch of Barbie toys worth about £90 last year - Still waiting for a big win - I know its just a matter of time though

I only started entering comps 2 weeks ago and have already won a holiday to New York. Found this site last week and am now addicted! Problem is... how do you beat a hol to New York as a prize?

I started in November & won prizes in November & December!!
I just enter the comps for prizes that I or one of my friends/family would like - I tend to leave the ones I don't really want to win to other MSE'ers.
Good Luck - and remember - the more you enter, the more chance of winning.

I must be the nutter:o oh yes I am:D entering about 100-200 at least a day, have won quite a bit already this year:D got a giant rock mountain bike been delivered tommorrow from a win:D

I have probably been entering between 20 and 60 a day?! But a lot of them are on the same websites. When you follow a link for one prize there are often loads more to enter on same site and once you've registered it is very quick to enter them all. I couldn't believe it when I got a call to say I'd won New York hol... BA club class flights, limousine transfers, 3 nights in 4* hotel and tix to Broadway show :-)

Hi, I too have just started entering competitions and was wondering the same thing so thanks for posting the question! I have never really had much luck with things which are down to luck so I shall be so suprised if I ever win anything, that said I can't help feeling a bit impatient!! But reading about all your successes keeps me motivated - for now anyway. And wow a trip to New York that is an amazing win - well done! Thanks everyone for all the tips and of course for posting all the comps!

Ive only been comping on this site (used others before) since mid november, i won £1000 within 2weeks(my best win so far!) ive won loads of other bits as well, I, if i dont distract myself, have a minimum of at least 100 + as a target, alot of days i beat that, odd days i dont, im lucky though as dh wont let me work so i can mess about with this best part of the day, he prefers it as it keeps me outta the shops!

Thanks everyone for your tips! Hehe I thought I was entering a lot of competitions (only 20ish if that a day!). I too tend to only enter the ones I would really like to win or would have a use for the prize. Blakeygirl, that holiday sounds fantastic! It's nice that you have tickets to Broadway etc. included Enjoy!
