I only generally enter comps where I would actually use the prize, as I kind of feel that I might deprive someone who really wanted it - this is usually around 50 per day.
The best win so far was for a day at the Jemma Kidd makeup school which I believe was worth around £250! I won't get the benefit though, my hubby passed it onto the mother in law, so I suppose I'll get some brownie points.
Best win this year was £100 of Simple Human products which arrived this morning and it was for stuff I was looking to pay out my cold hard cash for! They were also super efficient as I had only put my order in yesterday.
All the best with your comping and I'm sure it's only a matter of time before the wins start rolling in.0 -
Hi everyone,
I've just started too- yesterday! I was just wondering, I've been putting 000000000 as my phone number as don't want loads of telesales people calling etc, but it seems like a lot of wins call you - should I just put my mobile number in?
Thanks0 -

Unless the particular competition needs your phone number, i.e. to let you know if you've won, then I don't see why it would matter. I won't give my phone number unless it's obligatory.
I was wondering if my e-mail address was causing a problem. It has an _ (underscore) in it and sometimes that's not been accepted as a valid e-mail address. It has generally been accepted though but I was wondering if it could still be damaging my chances?
Thank you!0 -
I asked the same question when I first started comping Jellytot! I enterd about 30 a day for a good week then gave it a rest..........two parcels have turned up this week so it does show you,you do win if you put the time in!Dec Wins : Gold Leaf Necklace
Jan Wins : Tell No One Dvd0 -
It varies depending on my mood - anything from 10-50, I entered 70 yesterday though.
My best win was my fly-drive to Hawaii, I won 18 other prizes last year.
I waited 6-8 weeks for my first win which was a scented candle set - just 2 little candles in pots :rolleyes:0 -

Great Question :T
I have only been comping since 13th Jan and think I have done about 20 a day - no wins yet though - my computer blue screen of deathed me last night so only did about 5 will have to catch up on the weekend - I have to say though I am addicted.
At first I only entered ones I really wanted to win now I enter loads because I really want to win to see some payoff for all the hard work I have been putting in
Have to say though it does get easier once you are registered on lots of sites.
Get a seperate email just for comping - that is what I have done (a yahoo one)
Plus remember to check or uncheck boxes before you press sumbit and if you make a mistake check that they haven't reset the boxes I have had a couple of calls this week but not too bad'It Will be Mine in 2009' Challenge Member Number 88
