windows live messenger password help!

Hi, I changed my windows messenger/hotmail password and when I try to sign in to messenger it changes my password to my old one when I click to sign in. It wont save my new one. Ive uninstalled it and reinstalled it but it still does it! Ive done what it says on the site about clicking "remember password" but it didnt work. any ideas?

hmmm, sounds strange! Try clicking 'forget me' and then enter the details in again and see if that works.

tried it , wont work! I can sign in to hotmail but not messenger.

I should add, I had to change my password due to a "block checker" on msn to stop it sending spam from my account. I guess it somehow does this so you cant change your msn password? Argh! any ideas on how to remove it would be gratefully received! I get this error http://www.computerperformance.co.uk/Logon/code/code_80048821.htm
my password IS wrong because when I put thte correct one in it changes it back to the old one.

No other ideas...sorry! You could try www.mess.be and ask in their help forum, they are the WLM experts! They have a live IRC chat!
