Hi all,
I've got a huge complaint letter to send to Debenhams for non receipt of a refund for an item that was returned months ago and wondered if any of you know the name of the big chief at Head Office who to address my letter to?
I don't want to deal with 'Customer Services' any more - have been doing so since this problem began and have got nowhere fast.
I've had a look at their website but it just shows the 'Welbeck St' address and no details of Chief Exec or whoever.
I, of course am pretty confident that the chief exec wouldn't read a letter from someone as insignificant as me, but you never know! :rotfl:
Any help welcomed

Blimey, there's a big selection of bigwigs on there eh?!
Thanks though - just what I was after.0 -
I too have had a problem with debenhams, still not refunded an item back to my credit card despite it being returned on 3 dec 07 and having receipt from Parcelforce. Try their head office number 02074084444 , now having to resort to small claims court. Good Luck !0

My item was returned on 29th SEPTEMBER!!!!! Bit of a worry about the small claims court thing though - really could do without that - especially as I have lost the receipt given when the item was collected
Lets just hope that the collection driver was honest and logged it all in.....Can't even remember which firm collected it so I'm well stuck here and bl00dy Debenhams have £112.00 to refund so I can't let it drop.
Good luck to you too - here's hoping we take them to the cleaners!0 -
I too have had problems with a supplied item blatantly not matching its description, and then the return being "lost", followed by very slow, apathetic customer service.
Debenhams Online are a bunch of jokers who should be avoided unless they're offering an exceptionally good deal.0 -
Anybody notice that Adam Crozier from Royal Mail is one of their directors??
I wonder if thats' why you've had a delay in a response??0 -

Ha, yes I did notice that actually! Good point and probably true!
I've never bought from Debs online before - and won't be doing so again either - I wouldn't mind but the reason I had to return the item is not because I changed my mind but because it arrived damaged and they were unable to send a replacement. :mad:0 -
Thanks sweep9,
I've also found out that their email address are their name at Debenhams.com i.e john.lovering@debenhams.com
I've got terriable issues at the moment with delivery and payment of a bed.
To summarise they've taken too much money from my bank account for the bed, although they said they will refund the difference when the bed is delivered.
but that's just it... I was told delivery would be prior to 26 jan, yet to this day no-one can give me any details as to when delivery will take place!
Anyhows, i've sent an email to debenhams@direct.debenhams.com and cc 3 of the main guys lovering, templeman, & sharp.
I understand it's highly unlikely they will read it, but it should get passed to the Directors Complaints Office instead on the 'front-line' useless staff.0
