Train Comparison site?

Any body know of a train price comparison site?

    https://www.nationalrail.com is worth a try (also happens to be run from the station in the town where I grew up :D)
    There are 10 types of people in the world, those that understand binary and those that don't

    In many cases it helps if you say where you are - someone with local knowledge might be able to give local specifics rather than general advice

    What do you mean by "train comparison site"?

    https://www.thetrainline.com & https://www.nationalrail.co.uk are the obvious places to look for trains

    I'd go for the latter as a) you don't have to log on to find prices & b) it has a wonderful option to find CHEAPEST as opposed to FASTEST route

    If you are booking the tickets online, always check the train company's own website because they may have exclusive offers and promotions.
    Also if there is a possibility that your plans may change, request to pick up the tickets at the station's ticket machine, which makes the tickets easier to change online because you don't have to send the tickets back.
