    State? Are we in America?

'Member State' means a country that is a member of the European Union.

If it's the line: "My centre of interests is not within a Member State" , then you just putt a line through that.

Shame there's no-one who can go with you. :( But you've got plenty of 'online' support here and we will be wishing for the best when you go. :)

'Fraud' won't come into it either.

    Dear NME,

I've just printed out the Debtors Petition Form, so "fire away" when you're ready.:D

You've got a baby with earache to contend with, I'm sharing an office with three young women in their twenties; I can hardly hear myself think.

  • I am now delaying my BR because of this blasted Debtors Petition. I think i had an arrangement, Ive had |CCJs - is this what this means? I have no faith in the court advising me of anything, and I can just see me getting there, all ready, babysitter etc only to be told my forms are wrong.

Mine isnt straightforward. I had an inheritance, then 2 businesses, 3 properties, 2 cars and a partridge in a flippin pear tree.

I wish mine was just a few credit cards that i couldnt pay.

I have asked my friend to come with me (thanks Lesley ;) ).

If its wrong - what are the consequences?

Can I just add here that I hate my ex. Thank you.
  • hi NME

    Hi NME,

CCJ's aren't an arrangement. An arrangement was a legal equivalent to IVA's in the good old days.

I'm sure your forms will be fine. I don't think anybody on here has been turned down because of an error or ommission.

It's the O.R that will go into the complexities, not the Court.

Pleased you've got a friend to go with you; maybe you could ask him/her to have a look at your forms the day before??

    Regards

    Richard
  • My friend stared at my forms in disbelief. She is educated to degree level and is a Nurse Practitioner - and still didnt understand it.

I think I went into an arangement that I stuffed up, but I have no idea of the whens and whyfores so i am going to say no.

Have I been subject to an administration under part VI if the County Courts act 1984 (oh yes I remember that act well! Ahhh the 80's - good ole days).

    Line through that too methinks.

I am bitter and twisted and not at all sunny today so please ignore my posts at you through gritted teth, its not you its me (I think I said that a long time ago...)
