    To confirm Tesco stopped taking cheques on 24th Feb. I need to find other ways of filling up on Petrol in the few days before I get paid now ;)
    Debt as at 12th July 2006 - £61,345 :eek: :eek: :eek:
    Debt free 21st Oct 2011.

    Somerfield are banning cheques from March 31st 2008.

    somerfield have cancelled cancelling cheques... does that make sense? lol they will be accepting them after the 1st of april!
    October 2006 debt at 11,125.78
    March 2008 debt at 6,604.55
    Have gone to poland and bought a macbook too, ooops not exactly helping the debt...

    i know that Toys R us and Halfords and Squires garden centres all take cheques ( not very usful for food shopping but still!) would be good to compile a list of Shops that still take cheques! :-) any other additions?? or is this now in the wrong thread???
    I can only please one person a day.... Today is not your day. Tomorrow doesn't look good either!!
    very greatful for almost everything i read on MSE (except for the nasties!)
