Cheques

Hi Guys

anyone know if Sainsburys or Tesco's accept cheques as payment still? I have food shop to do and no money until Thursday (payday - yippee!) and was going to pay by cheque.........:A

    AGain, I don't think anywhere does anymore. Is it worth checking to see if you have been paid - our firm's money usually goes in the afternoon before it is officially due.

    Could you phone customer services at your local supermarkets and ask if they still take cheques? or are any of them 24hr where you could do a (very) late night shop once pay has gone in ....on the stroke of midnight lol

    Can you cash cheques at the post office?
  • i thought tesco still take cheques cause a lady paid with a cheque just before xmas.

  • I don't think Sainsbury's do but it would appear from a google search that some Tesco stores are trialing no cheques scheme & others will still take them.
    How about phoning ur local tesco store & asking customer services?
    Hope u find somewhere to use your cheque!;)

    The answer to the previous question is YES Tesco does still take cheques.
