i can't comment on cot bed mattresses, but I bought our cot mattress at http://www.babymattressesonline.co.uk/welcome.html . ( I think there was a 10% code when I ordered it, so I try to post new ones on the vouchers board when I get one. )
Anyway, for the mattress we got it was much cheaper than M&P for the same quality. We ended up with the X Static Silver one which was sprung. The idea of the silver fabric is that it anti-microbial, and it is washable.

I got mine from Kiddicare too.
It was/is a sprung mattress with a removable waterproof quilted cover that could be shoved in the washer............it seemed quite a novelty at the time, having been used to mothercare mattresses :rotfl:Autism Mum Survival Kit: Duct tape, Polyfilla, WD40, Batteries (lots of),various chargers, vats of coffee, bacon & wine.0 -
I've only ever had the one i mentioned above - I thought all mattress covers were machine washable???
(Good job I didn't buy motherecare one then!)The IVF worked;DS born 2006.0 -
