As part of my job, I have to download article from newspapers around the word, store them as HTML files and then access them from time-to-time. I use Netscape for this, because I like the programme (for reasons we will not go into here). I recently switched to version 8, but am now encountering a very minor annoyance that I would nevetheless like fixed.
To access a document as stored above, you click on it and it appears on screen. At least in theory! In practice, the document is opened, but then automatically minimises itself, forcing me to click on the box at the bottom of the screen to once again bring it back on screen. How can I make it stay as a maximised document upon clicking on it?

Please. please accept my apologies for being one of those people who don't answer your problem but instead suggest firefox
It's just that the scrapbook extension for firefox was built for the job you described. You just drag an article or section into the sidebar and it's saved. You can then delete parts, add comments to parts, add highlights to text and do lots of other manipulations
I've only been using it for a couple of months and I already have hundreds of snippets of web pages saved with important parts highlighted and comments added0 -
Sra,
Took heed of your suggestion and downloaded Firefox and like it very much indeed. So thank you very much. Anything not to use IE!0
