One Reason Why DFWs Would Miss a Credit Card or Debit Card

Here's one example for you. One of my mates who is on a DMP recently found himself stuck in his car bogged down in a field. He couldn't get out. So he phoned his Breakdown Company who told him that he would have to pay as he wasnt broke down and did not qualify for free recovery:eek:. As he has no CCs and in fact no Debit Cards, he was unable to make any kind of payment and was therefore, embarrassingly stuck in the field and became quite stressed. What did he do? He had to rely on someone else to bail him out with their debit card. Lesson learned, never do a 3 point turn and reverse in a field without the means of paying for being stuck when you have mucky boots on as your foot will probably slip off the clutch and you'll find yourself going backwards at a rapid rate of knots. Funny story eh:D

often farmers will pull you out for £20 or so. no, don't spend my life in fields! (lots of roads round here they don't grit and folks end up in the ditches.)
But the reason I hang on to the credit card still is really in case something happens to the car and there's no money in the current account.Mortgage OP 2026 £450/2000
