edinburghYep, Xcape is very pricey indeed; and Glasgow has so many beautiful classic buildings it would be a shame for the visitors to spend a day in a generic 'mall' style place (I like it though; always save up for a bit of snow fun now and again!!)
There are a loads of free and lovely art galleries and museums around; and I can volunteer to get people off planes/ trains/ buses and escort them to the meet if anyone is worried about getting lost! (know I would be in new place but that is because I'm silly and don't know my left from my right
)
Also the Race For Life is pretty short; and doesn't casue too much disruption. Was through sup[porting mate last year and it was all fine; it is localised, most towns hold their own ones; so i doubt it will cause problems.

glasgowwell thats it i have booked it off at work ~ no going back now. :j With regards to the race for life i dont think it matters as it a town thing and its everywhere. However if people take my advice and book rooms now then tehy will still be cheap (ish) i found a hotel ensuite for £52 twin with breakfast 0
