I've not been there yet but i was thinking that it may be a bit difficult if people were coming by train

What is they were flying to prestwick, train to central, bus to braehead then back to town for their bed.

I have heard it is great though

Not sure if this is a good thing or a bad but the 8th June (the Sunday) is the Race for Life in Glasgow. Might be mental??

Or we could do it :rotfl:

that would require remembering not to drink too much on 7th though... I might be up for it.

Does it make it really busy on the Saturday for staying? Just thinking it might get booked up early or be pricey.

Sounds to me that with all the DFW- ers in town it would be more like Run for Your Life :rotfl:

not sure - there are race for life events all over so wouldn't have thought people would stay over for one, different if it was one of the 10K events.

pap, can you please put me in list of yes?

I reckon xscape is too much travel wise. We should do like the flash crowd thing and all meet in a totally random place. What about an art gallary or something. Suppose will depend on weather and there is still plenty time to decide. I wouldnt worry about the race for life for hotel/crowd issues. Most people stick to within their own city. Ive done the Edinburgh one and there was about 5000 people there but it didnt cause any problems. I reckon it would be great to get a dfw team together to do it!! Was going to suggest we do meet t-shirts too. Might turn into a pricy trip though if i dont rein in my ideas......

    night all

Race for Life shouldn't be too much of a problem, they are usually very localised.
