    Ironically, the only place in Scotland I can fly to from my local airport is Aberdeen. The rest are too close...

    what about the botanic gardens? How central are they?

    Or just George Square? Or BK or Pub in Queen St Station? that might be an idea! it's not mega busy generally.......

    just looking on goole maps, there is glasgow green but thats a bit far out from the centre of the town, or kelvingrove park :confused:

    Woohoo. Coming up to my neck of the woods. There is a holiday Inn Express in Glasgow that does reasonable deals and is just the ticket. Also so far as I know Caledonia University rent out their rooms at holiday times,( met a nice German that was staying there once). Loads of places, loads of pubs,clubs reataurants ............did I say woohoo??
    5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60
    Currently CC £23,674.36 /£14,895.41/£14315.42
    Mortgage £28,214.65/ £26,254.71/ £25,746.43
    By end 2020 I want CC at £ 19,000.00.
    By end 2021 I want CC at £10,000.00

    Awww nooo! I can't do Easter as we are going away ourselves (in the camper...wooo!), because I go back to work on the 7th April (gahhhhhhhh :eek:).

    Not to worry though - I will try to organise one later in the year in the Leeds/Sheffield area.
