I had my renewal letter through from the AA yesterday. Joint membership, relay and roadside assistance = £120 !

Thought it looked a bit pricey so went onto the AA website to check, only to find that the same cover was £96 there - A case of brand new customers only perhaps ?

Anyway, gave them a ring:money: this morning and they've reduced it to £85.

Do they do this sort of thing deliberately knowing that some people just can't be arsed to chack and then phone ?

Thats exactly what they do ... hope people will just renew without checking. Its always worth phoning them up to try and get a better deal. Always look at the competition too eg. RAC.

Cashback is available when buying a new policy through the AA (use the Cashback-Sites Maximiser to find the best deal) and don't forget Autoaid at just £36 includes full cover for you & spouse... read the breakdown cover article for full details in case you've not bought yet :D
