Hi all,

I have been in plaster for the last few weeks (leaving my wife to struggle manfully with extra jobs as well as deal with our new 7 week old bundle of joy - how bad do I feel?) and am looking to book a surprise couple of nights away for the three of us next week.

I was looking to go somewhere like the Hilton Crigendarroch in Ballater, Scotland and wondered if anyone had any codes or had seen any deals recently to lower the cost a bit?

Thanks for that Saveapenny - it's certainly taking a bit of an edge of the prices! A friend of a friend knows a friend who works for Hilton - so I will see if I can get a code there and post it on.

Have you had a look at https://www.laterooms.co.uk? Not sure if the hotel you want is on there, but there can be some fantastic deals, saving ~40% on rack rates.
