I did search for this but couldn't find a previous post.
Microsoft are currently offering Office 2007 Ultimate edition to students for only £38.95, it usually retails at over £450. The only requirement is that you must be a currently registered student and have a .AC.UK e-mail address.
The website is http://www.theultimatesteal.co.uk/ and it's all legit, there's links to the Microsoft site from that site with the terms. I believe this offer is open until April.

How did you search? There are many many posts and many threads (including one started by Martin himself). Any combination of "Office Ultimate", "ultimatesteal", "ultimate steal", "office student" etc would have lead you to them. Are you actually using the forum's search function? I've personally mentioned the link about 12 times in my posts in various threads so that you can't find them maybe indicates your search isn't working properly."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

It's annoying to see the phrase "usually retails at over £450", this is not a real market price at all.0

I searched for "ultimate steal" and it said nothing found. Bizarre.
Regarding the usual selling price, that's the current price Amazon is selling it at http://www.amazon.co.uk/Microsoft-Office-2007-Ultimate-PC/dp/B000HEV6NO/ref=pd_bbs_sr_2?ie=UTF8&s=gateway&qid=1201078971&sr=8-20 -

I know what you mean, I'm sure a very small number actually really do pay that. But it's still a good deal nonetheless. I'd bought it myself a few months ago and it's the best office suite I've used so far."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

A student relative of mine has Office 2007 installed and tells me that you can run 1 licensed product on 3 separate machines. True, I wonder?0

I know some academic versions (I think home and student edition as well) come with 3 licenses. So you can install them on three separate pcs.
Unfortunately not the case of the ultimate offer as that is essentially 1 retail license for an academic price/cost."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

Is there any way to downgrade it to the equivalent version of Office 2003 once you have received it?
(Hate Office 2007, but want to get a legit 2003!)0 -
There's no obvious way - so I would doubt it0
