New laptop (Sony Vaio) from the US with Vista.
When it starts a box saying 'array index error' comes up.
My cousin bought it for me and got rid of some of the preloaded rubbish that Sony think it is necessary to put on their machines.
I'm not sure if it is related to this.
Any suggestions how to get rid of this box/the cause of it?

Uninstall Quickbooks.
