Heya
i lost everything on my laptop a few weeks ago including allot of music and my itunes libary.
is there a way I can put new music onto my ipod without losing what is already on it as if i plug it in now it will clear everything as there's nothing in my library

You need to change it to manually sync music in itunes, you should be able to do it before it wipes it
just click manyally manage music then click apply.0 -
I think there is software out there that you can buy and download which transfers your IPod music etc to the PC.
There are also some freebies but I am not sure how good these are.
This is useful in your situation.
