The only place I would consider is the dell www.dmxdimension.com/ site to check out the best deals from dell to get an inexpensive laptop, never buy a laptop 2nd hand there are a few problems that can usually only be identified after use the main one being the battery does it hold its charge? most people get shut of a laptop becasue the battery is goosed and they discover it is £100+ to replace the battery on a £350 laptop.
I know a few people that thought they were getting a good deal to discover the battery only lasted 20 minutes0 -
def. agree with previous post. what about getting brand new one? I ordered dell vostro 1500 todayand total cost was £316.It's had really good reviews and you can have it made to your own spec.:j0

i used to work for a company called europc that were the biggest dell refurbisher in the uk but they werent much cheaper than new, even with staff discount! that said they priced the stuff as bulk items so you did see stuff with hi def screens etc at the same rate a cheap gear.0

Hold on, I've had several laptops from dells own refurb section http://www.dell.co.uk/outlet and they've all been good with full Dell warrenties too. Only every had one bad one, broken with chocolate still on it!?!?! But because dell treat them like new, I got it replaced quickly. Prices vary and availablity varies, I ended up checking every morning ~8 - 10am, and then spotted good deals, any other time, there always seemed to be poor selection and poor offers.
Just my 2 cents.0
