Cheapish Heathrow Parking - on South or West side

Can anyone please recommend a cheapish car park for Heathrow which is on the West or South side of the airport (we shall be coming from the M3 direction)?

I have done the usual web searches (including Holiday Extras) but they all seem to give much the same results with the usual suspects - all of which seem to be on the North or East of the airport.

I suspect there are a number of smaller parking operators somewhere on the M3 side if only I could find them...

Thanks,

V

PS With the right code (see other threads), Purple Parking is a wonderful bargain although unfortunately it's miles in the wrong direction (NE) for us.

I'm sure there is one - off the road from the M25 to T4, in Spout Lane. I used it last summer and it was cheap, if a little run down.

    I booked through http://www.parkbcp.co.uk

But - I can't find it now on their site. Maybe it's closed for redevelopment to serve T5?
  • You could try www.parkandgo.co.uk which offers one parking area to west of airport I think it is Reeds Parking.

Hotel allocation on arrival, which was holiday inn=excellent and we were given an executive room. Great hotel. Great experience. parking was at hotel. Had to pay for airport shuttle bud £5 i think.

Purple Parking has always come up trumps for me, transfer is not so bad but can be slow when schools nearby end the day at 3.30.

We found Purple Parking not too far from Heathrow. BUT, allow yourselves plenty of time if you are leaving early morning and travelling to Heathrow around rush hour as it gets VERY congested. We allowed ourselves (what we thought) plenty of time, but still managed to miss our flight (by about 2 minutes!)

Thanks for all the replies. I eventually tracked down (and booked):

    Airport Economy Parking
    Spout Lane North
    Stanwell Moor
    Middlesex
    TW18 6BN

which is the one I expect you were referring to although I could not find it on the parkbcb website (and most of the others I tried).

However it was listed on the www.parkandgo.co.uk website (thanks monkeyspanner).

Just in the right place for us just off M25 Jn14 (Reeds is the other side of the M25 towards Windsor) - even if it is a bit run down - and I don't think they drive your car to another compound as so many other companies seem to.

    Thanks again,

    V
