I have posted on the families forum, but wondered if I could get any help from you all on this one also.
I am travelling tomorrow with my husband to Nottingham and Harrogate, while on business and will be on my own with a car in Nottingham for three hours tomorrow and then Harrogate for late afternoon/early evening.
Can anyone recommend anything for me to do with a 1 year old are there any soft play places that are open all day. Any good animal parks etc.
Look forward to hearing from you

Hello from Nottingham.
There is lots and lots to do. In town its self most of the Museeums are free, Thats the Brewhouse Yard Museum, the Costume and Textile Museum, Nottingham Castle Museum and just out side the City at Wollaton - Wollaton Hall and Park. Not to much fun for a One year old but if they are asleep or it's raining. As for Farms and Animal Parks The White Post Centre at Farnsfiel is great and has quiet a lot indoors https://www.whitepostfarmcentre.co.uk . There is also Ferry Farm at Hoveringham - https://www.ferryfarm.co.uk . These are both on the right side of the city to pick up the A1 to get to Harrogate that way. I've never been to Wonderland Pleasure Park - https://www.wonderlandpleasurepark.com but it has a indoor soft play are for those under 6 and its next to The White Post Farm.
Finally in Rushcliffe Arena in West Bridgeford the is Run Riot a soft play area on three levels 0115 981 4027.
Hope this helps - have a good timeC.R.A.P.R.O.L.L.Z Able Archer0 -
Harrogate isn't really a very child-friendly town! Afternoon tea at Betty's, (a local institution with yummy cakes and they cater for children) then a walk in the Valley Gardens (play area for children, and if you're lucky there will be a band playing).

We had a nice meal at a restaurant called Pinnochios in Harrogate with our 3 & 4 year olds. Nowhere for them to play, but good food and full of families.
