I'm on the hunt for an LCD TV too but decided to wait until prices cool a bit. The cheapest I saw about three weeks ago was £280 but I can't find it now. Cheapest I can see now is £309 at unbeatable: http://www.pricerunner.co.uk/sound-and-vision/vision/tv/262459/prices
Its a 17 inch widescreen DMTech DML-4117W
There's an HDTV ready Daewoo 17" one for £330 including delivery: http://ws3.kelkoo.riptonsdirect.com/showproduct.php?cda=showproduct&pid=DAE-DSL17D3
I'd be interested to see what else is out there. The reason people don't move right down inside the carriage is that there's nothing to hold onto when you're in the middle.0 -

I should add that those were the cheapest I could find for 17 inch and above. The reason people don't move right down inside the carriage is that there's nothing to hold onto when you're in the middle.0 -

I remember less than a year ago this TV (the Beko) was being sold as a "special offer" by Comet for £500!The reason people don't move right down inside the carriage is that there's nothing to hold onto when you're in the middle.0 -
