hi there
my friend recently upgraded from xp to vista ( using a vista upgrade cd bought from pc world) , all seemed to be working fine for a week or so, now when he starts up his computers he get the vista boot screen and can go no further.
how could this have happened and how can this be corrected. could he just put his xp system recovery cd in , and recover back to when he first got his machine?
many thanks

Try the upgrade cd there might be a repair function now shown.
If you use the xp cd you will loose everything stored on the drive.0
