Faulty Thermostat

My heating thermostat is not picking up the right temperature. It was fitted last year to replace one with a cracked cover & seemed to be working fine for a while but now it isn't. Does anyone know if it can be easily fixed?

Many thanks

Replace it with one that works, or is that a bit too obvious? If you are implying that it might be able to be recalibrated then I don't think so. Get one from eBay for about a fiver.

Yes that's what I was implying and I am no expert so nothing is obvious especially as it is less than a year old.
