Need advice re: QVC & northern nights featherbed.

Approx 4 years ago I purchased a northern nights baffle box featherbed. I bought it on the grounds that it was good for people with allergies and could be dry cleaned.
I decieded to take it to the dry cleaners; who sent it away. When it came back, they said it couldn't be cleaned due to a number of reason most relating to the baffle box construction and the fact it was feathers
I conntacted QVC last week and aired my concerns. They said they would get someone to contact me regarding this.
They telephoned me today and tried to convince me that it could be washed and dried at a normal launderette. I told them I wasn't convinced by this and believed that the reasons the dry cleaners gave for not cleaning this item, were valid and seemed realistic. QVC just stuck to the idea that it could be wet cleaned and then dried in the tumble drier.
I have since looked on the QVC website at the baffle box construction featherbeds & it clearly states dry clean.
What can I do about this?

Have you tried contacting Northern Nights directly? They might be able to give you more accurate advice, and then you can take it from there.0

Can';t find a number for them. Asked QVC, who wouldn't tell me.0 -
According to this, Northern Nights Bedding is made by Pacific Coast Feather. Seems that they're based in the States, but you could email ...0

Thanks have sent them an email.
On their website they offer a 10 year warrenty, I bet QVC don't offer that on the featherbeds they sell.0 -
Still waiting on QVC to re-contact me re this matter. Any further advice would be appreciated.0
