Turn off Caps lock without keyboard?

Hello,
Bit of an odd one but I hope someone can help.
I'm working remotely on a number of laptops. One of the things I need to do is run a script that is designed not to work if the laptop has Caps Lock on. Usually by the time I realise it's on, they've gone elsewhere and can't be tracked down!
So... can I turn off Caps Lock within windows?
TIA!

Only thing I can think of is to run the On Screen Keyboard and click caps lock. Should work. (Start>All Programs>Accessories>Accessibility>On screen keyboard)"She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"
