Although there's no picture of the unit itself, that is certainly very good value for what it is (bear in mind, p&p would add £1.76 to the price though).
Their - possessive pronoun (owned by them e.g. "They locked their car").
    They're - colloquial/abbreviated version of 'They are'
There - noun (location other than here e.g. "You can buy groceries there") OR adverb (in or at that place e.g. "They have lived there for years") OR adverb (to or towards that place e.g. "Go there at noon") OR adverb (in that matter e.g. " I agree with you there").

Just looking for some Caller ID units as I don't want to change phones. I notice most of the caller ID units don't display names.

Now mobiles have had caller display with names on since the year dot. So we take it for granted that we don't have to remember all those numbers now. Ebay has a few on, but most are without.

The BT Shop has the Caller Display 1000 for £19.99, but it doesn't show names. The only thing it does is tell me whether it's a payphone, international call etc. For that price I could have a new phone!

Just ordered one of these. I can't think that £2.79 is too much to risk, even on ebay.

I think the phones will display names in the same way that mobiles do, if its in your phonebook it comes up with a name, if its not it comes up with a number.
I started with nothing and I am proud to say I still have most of it left.

Looking at the pic of the very cheap caller display unit mentioned in this thread, I can't see any controls on it and assume it might only show a single number on the screen (ie no history).
