The 3 years manufacturers warranty on my Jag X-type 2.0 diesel come to end on 6th Feb. The Jag main dealer has offered me 'similar' cover for £800, this sounds a lot of money.
I plan to keep thge car for another year. Can anyone recommend / suggest a route?

Try getting an aftermarket warranty quote and see what the differences are. Remember to read the small print, re: consumables, mileage, servicing etc.
Good luck.CHEAP doesn't mean ETHICAL0 -
Is this £800 for only one year & is it the Jaguar brand warranty - which is one of the more comprehensive available, incedently? It does sound quite expensive, as it's not to cover one of the bigger Jaguars.
Think I'd check out www.warrantydirect.co.uk if I were you. You'll still have a well thought of company to honour any claim you might have.
