CTF - what are people's thoughts on the abbey stakeholder

fund talked about by Martin in his newsletter a while back. i invested £516.69 in the abbey CTF account in December 2006 and in December 2007 this now amounted to £537.56 so a gain of about £20 only! wonder if i hsould now risk a stakeholder and see people's thoughts on it first. thanks! also with the ups and downs of the stockmarket i wonder how closely one has to follow this though have heard that india and china have good prospects for investmetns
