Can anyone help. My mum has her double glazing done by these in 1999. She was given a 10 year guarantee. Yesterday, she found she was unable to shut her back door. Not sure whats happened but it wont shut.So she had to come to work yesterday with it unlocked. She has tried ringing the national 0800 number and also the local branch but no luck. The local branch just rings and rings. She has spoken to someone from quotes who has told her someone will ring back but they dont. They are supposed to have got on to customer services but they will not give her CS phone no.
The door stayed open all last night and still is today.
What can she do? They dont seem interested.Obviously she's worrying about it.Anyone got a number for customer service or know what she can do?

Think I read on here the business has been bought by Weatherseal, and they are honouring guarantees. Check the 'In my home' board to be sure.0

Should my mum ring Weatherseal direct then instead of bothering with the numbers she has for Zenith? Does anyone know the customer service no. for Weatherseal?0

Can anyone help? I had an order with Zenith Staybrite Bowater which was being processed when I then had a phone call from customer services at Weatherseal (the new holding company for Zenith), explaining that they had taken over the order book for Zenith and could a rep come out to try to match the quote. We weren't happy with all the changes so cancelled the order. We then had a call from Zenith today saying that the order would be ready for installation mid Feb. when we explained we had cancelled the order when Weatherseal had phoned the previous week, Zenith said that it was not possible to cancel and we would be charged. Where do we stand? Can we cancel without incurring charges? I would really appreciate any advice.0

If Zenith have gone, then the warranty may have disappeared with it. They were memebers of the GGF so it may be worth a call to them, at least to see if they can recommend another member to do the work under guarantee.
However wsholdings is saying elsewhere, they have taken over the company completely, so all guarantees will be honoured by weatherseal holdings....my advice is ALWAYS put it in writing, dont ring call centres write, take a copy and send recorded, a judge will consider they have failed to react.
sashmanBuying quality goods which last, should be an investment that saves money. :T
Buying cheap products which fail, wastes money and costs twice as much in the long run. :mad:0 -
Hi,
I neighbour took out a loan for windows with this crowd 5 years ago and has just noted there was ppi front ended to the loan. Ge Money handled the finance etc.
1) Is it too late to re-claim the ppi
2) did GE Money get fined for mis-selling? (or do we need to deal with Zenith?
Advice & guidance please ... thanks vm"onwards & upwards"0 -
