  • I bought one of these a while back from Orangeaccessories when they were £20.

It's a better find, even at the more expensive £29.99.
In addition, it came in a box with both a Wall Charger and a Car Charger.
Bother are SIRF III (which is a minimum IMHO)
The smaller the monkey the more it looks like it would kill you at the first given opportunity.

Actually? In my opinion? yes. I have both. I'm quite a heavy GPS user (Geocaching)

I have had a holux since about 2006. I much prefer the RoyalTek one for more than 1 reason:

    1) It's accurate and updates really quickly
    2) It's much quicker out of the box to pick up satellites (it advertises in 28 seconds but generally it's less than 10)
    3) It doesn't crash my M2000 with Tomtom
    4) The battery lasts longer (but then again, it's newer)

The specs on them, officially, are the same (simply because they're both Sirf III). They're both made in Taiwan and probably in the same factory!

I dunno why but I also have a cheaper one, but we won't talk about that ;)
