BEWARE! I bought this product. It doesn't come boxed and you don't get a wall charger either just an in-car charger. In fact mine doesn't even sync up with my phone either. Although a friend's identical unit works fine. I am going to return it. Also if you're thinking of selling it on it might be tricky without the missing parts.
Orange have been very misleading with their advert. The link to Pockekgpsworld implies you get whats in their photos but you don't. Orange even mention Box contents may differ on the website when you dont even get a box!0 -
I have been using this for over a year and I think it's a good alternative to the expensive TomTom unit. I used it with several devices (Orange C500/HP H2210/Nokia N95) and have had no problems at all.
I won't worry about the wall charger - it's a standard mini-USB so many phone charger can be used on it (I use a C500 charger). Moreover its battery is a Nokia-compatible so can be easily replaced (unlike TomTom's units).Mark Hughes' blue and white army0 -
Is Orange C500 Oranges' own make or it re-branded like Samsung/LG?
Thanx0 -
I bought one of these just over a year ago off eBay for around £50. Unit came fully boxed with mains charger and car charger as standard. Never had any problems with it and it gets a signal really quickly. £29.99 is a bargain price for this.0

I paid £120 for my holux 236slim when it was released. an excelent peice of kit, mine came with a wall charger and a car charger. the wall charger only got used when I went to Germany and Italy as it was a euro 2 pin plug. I use the car charger, PC usb cable or my phone charger to charge it no problems.
It is soo good I bought a 2nd one for my sister and bought her a PDA so she has sat nav. she once left it on the dash and went round a corner with the window open and it slid accross the dash and out of the window. a few scratches but it works fine after and still does.0 -
Ebay is the best place fo rthese..
I've bought many for family and friends etc and never paid more than £30 inc postage.I would have used my own initiative if someone would have told me to!0 -

UPDATE
To be honest for the price this isn't a bad deal. It works brilliantly okay so Orange have been misleading with the website content however its a great product and at a brilliant price. I'd rather buy from Orange instead of ebay where you either have a second hand product at this price, those from sellers with bad feedback or something from abroad which would incur customs charges.
If you really did need a wall charger you could buy it cheaply. However it charges up with a USB cable attached to a computer or just use the in-car charger.0
