Northern Rock Tracker Acc- website apps

I've just had a go at applyig for the acc on their website but the window will not load correctly.

I've turned off the popup blocker so the window appears but only for a few seconds it looks like its loading but then another window opens with the red cross in the corner.

The first window then closes.

Anyone else having this problem??

I just checked: it works on my PC.
After 'Click here to apply online' page changes to 'tracker online:
apply online'. After clicking 'proceed' at the bottom a new window appears, then another one, but finaly only one new window is left with blew/cyan backgrownd 'tracker online application'. No red crosses at any stage.
I have Win 2000.

It's a hideous clunky system they use at NR. I've found it appalingly intolerant of "non-standard" setups. I find that I have to use Internet Explorer (rather than my preferred Firefox), and if I've installed a non-Microsoft Java Virtual Machine (e.g., Sun's) then it won't work. Very messy. Pity they're paying such a good rate, or I'd leave them.

I tried it at work as well and it was really slow then said something had gone wrong please call the call centre.

I'm staying with my A&L online saver unless they cut rates further.

Joined yesterday, trying to transfer all my money from A&L to NR. Yes it is a nightmare to setup and almost gave up yesterday. I called them up to solve this problem but they told me to email their technical guys and it may be up to two days before they respond. at the end I had to hold the Ctrl button and a pop up appeared. From then on everything was fine and I should get my welcome pack tomorrow they said.

This was a nightmare for me too but I finally managed to open one. Only to receive a letter saying that as I had opened one then closed it previously that I will only be receiving 4.75% gross, no bonus for me!
So the hunt begins again for a decent rate :mad:
