last minute holiday deals...somewhere hot!

Hi guys,

mum wants us to go away in 2 weeks... but it has to be somewhere hot!
our buget is £300-350pp.

Don't really want to go to Spain as mum has only ever been there and I'm more of a 'traveller' and want to show her something other than package deals.

any idea?

You don't say what airport you want to leave from?

I looked on https://www.lastminute.com real quick and used their search engine and found some sweet offers to Portugal and Cyprus...starting at £179 (flights & hotel inc.) also found... Greece for £269 (flight and B&B) or you can always try here https://www.airline-network.co.uk/holidays/holidays.asp?page=map&maptype=world

I'm looking at Canary Islands... it's about 22oc there at the mo, and mum and I defo want some beach time.

If you want hot it will need to be the Canaries or further than Europe. What about the Red sea area.
Is you £350 for flights & hotel only? You will pay extra for board (food)?
How long 7 nights?
Where from?

But Portugal will probably be too cool for you, so I wouldn't bother with there.

The Canaries are your best best. If you are prepared to do it yourself you can get a week in a good 4* hotel HB with flights for about £350. I looked for about 30 mins and found flights to Lanzarote for £140 each and San Antonio Hotel for about £540 total. Rubicon Palace Hotel was also a good price. Flights via Skyscanner and hotel via Hotelcomparison. If you use Hotelopia you can get 10% back from Quidco and 10% using a promo code found by searching these forums. The date I used was 7th February. Good luck.
