I am looking for a nice hotel in Harrogate, can anyone help?

You have lots of choice, there are lots of great hotels in Harrogate, I have stayed in several over the years, including the Old Swan, the St George Best Western, the Principle and the Holiday Inn.

The Moat House - central location on Kings Road and good quality
The Balmoral - also on Kings Road. It's a much smaller hotel but excellent quality. Their restaurant (open to non-residents) is fantastic
Hotel Du Vin and the Harrogate Spa Hotel are both on Prospect Place which is a beautiful setting and very close to the town centre
For the cost-conscious there's a Travel Inn at Hornbeam Park - a little further out but with good bus and train links into town

Harrogate also has an abundance of guest houses if you prefer the family-style accommodation
