    yesterday was a rough day, I don't think I've been that angry in a long time and I will fight it. It's not just me, there are other 'sections' in a particular band who have spent months working on writing various instrument parts for an album, only to have the label take it, record it and change the odd note so they can use cheap musos to play it. They should pay royalties for the transcriptions but they are refusing to. It's wrong and they'll lose if it ever gets into court.

    So, I made a few phone calls yesterday. And the upshot was that EMI have plenty of work for us (It's good to have contacts) and we're starting work next week with a couple of fresh shiney new artists. I'm going to just do a bit of tour managing for now (because of the surgery next week). But hopefully I'll be fit to work proper later in the year.

    I've got a flippin headache this morning ;)
