Is it fraud that clothes don't fit now?
  • its fraud if you buy it purposely to return it and use the petrol slip I believe...

    in a literal manner anyway.

Although saying that, tesco's con people enough so meh.. I don't care about the moral aspect. But it is fraud :p Don't deny it.

This sound too good to be true, my OH car takes nearly 60 litres to fill a week and at todays prices ANY reduction would be welcomed.

Plus we are going on holiday in a couple of weeks :j so we could easily spend £25 each on beach clothes!!!

Can anyone confirm if this is available on clothes and available in the north west???

    Thanks

Why not just use someone else's credit card if you want to commit fraud?

It is not fraud! it is getting a rebate on the Grand Theft Fraudulant practices of this Labour government!

Even 50 pence off a litre would not be enough!

Time to speak up and not just put up with!

We could debate policy all day but the bottom line is that I doubt any party would drop fuel duty if they came to power - it's too much of a money spinner.

The OP says the offer is a 'till-spit'. I read it that this came out with his/her receipt, as till-spit bonus points offers do sometimes. They are the extra bit of receipt that churns out (spits out) at the till, hence 'till spit'. Not 'split' or anything else BTW for any newbies' benefit!

So you would have to receive (or womble, but oooops, that's fraud isn't it Constantine, me old R&R mate?!!;) :D  ) such a till-spit from Tesco in order to then use it at the petrol station.

Not everyone gets till-spits and even if you do, not everyone gets the same ones and not all stores issue the same ones. So there is no guarantee that this till-spit will be produced each time is there, unless lots of people confirm that they have indeed got this till-spit every time on such a purchase?

I may give it a go this week though....:D

Fraud is a little OTT I think....consumer revenge is more apt

    Revenge?

Revenge is the inflicting of punishment upon, the seaking of vengeance
for wrongs or injuries, retaliatory action, What did Tesco do to you?

Though fraud was implied, sometimes i do buy lots of clothes and they don't fit due to lack of changing rooms in tesco's.

    Plus I'm a weird shape. :( *sigh*

If you're in Leeds then the Seacroft extra store which are running this promotion have lots of changing rooms.
Also the Roundhay store has a smaller range of clothes and has changing rooms too.
