When I go online my daughters MSN account is automatically signed in. My daughters contacts list keep popping up with messages thinking that she is here but it is me just being online! How can I stop this so that anyone who wants to go onto MSN has to log in via Hotmail first and not automatically?
Thanks

Change the preferences so it does not automatically sign anyone in.buzbyxman wrote:When I go online my daughters MSN account is automatically signed in. Hi,
Either sign out of it, or change your status to appear offline, that way you will appear not there without having to close it or sign out for her, so it saves time. HTH,

You can also:
go to Control Panel then User Accounts
then Change an Account
Click on the the XP account you want to change (if there's more than one)
then Change my .NET passport
click on Use a different Passport
Go through the wizard with the details but this time make sure
Associate my passport with this account is not ticked

Just realized there's another easier way:
- Go to Control Panel then User Accounts
- then Change an Account
- Click on the the XP account you want to change (if there's more than one)
- Under Releated Tasks at the side Manage my Network Passwords then Remove
