Potter in Saddleworth

Over the weekend I broke a plant pot holder of my mums - very upset as it was bought by my late father. The pot was made by Les Roberts of Saddleworth but the phone number on the label is disconnected. Can any help with his contact details

hi spinybif.. i live in oldham which is just a couple miles from saddleworth. there are lots of little crafts shops in saddleworth and it is possible he may have moved or something. i'll post the link to the local paper where if you click on the contact link on left you could send a request to "the letters to the editor" page. OR contact saddleworth museum and ask them if they know of this chap. Tomorrow if you so wish i will look in my local tel directory for all les roberts and you could call around.

Phone number might have changed - an extra digit was added a few years ago. Try it in the format 01457 8 nnnnn.
I've also found a David Roberts, in nearby Holmfirth, who may be worth a call - possibly related?
