i think sept / oct last year, the prices were hovering around the £1.00, to £1.02 mark.... so about a 8 - 6p drop is needed..... as if that is going to happen though!

does anyone know what fuel cost was in late Sept early Oct 2007?

According to my archived Petrolprices.com alerts, 91.9p on 24/09, 92.9 on 27/09 and 93.9 on 4/10, rising to 94.9 on 1/11. So in the price dip over that period cheapest it went was 91.9.
