No Pound sign on keyboard - only $

I have bought a bluetooth keyboard with American protocol.
How can I tell it to read $ sign as sterling?

Not sure if it's the same as you'd do with a pc keyboard, but just in case it is try going to control panel, click on Regional & Language icon. The box at the top will probably have American or USA selected, just click on the arrow & scroll down to English or UK.

If it's something completely different, then just ignore me & someone who knows what they are talking about will hopefully come along to help you!
The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.

I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.

As with cattie but in Regional & language settings, click on 'customise' then do your own thing with any changes you require e.g. currency --- click on the tick box and you will see 3 choices. In your case chose £. There are many other changes that you can make to your taste.

    Best regards
