I know there's one in Llandudno when we go on holiday and one in Coalville where I used to work but none near us where we live now :( There's a continuous thread on the Grabbit (IIRC) board I think!

  • Its an amazing shop, I can't pay a visit to Netto without going to Homebargains as well.
They had short-dated soya milk 1L for 5p last week! Before Christmas they had part-baked fancy dinner rolls 6 for 10p and delicious they were too!

Its cheaper than Poundland for Palmolive shampoo. Alright it's only 5p difference, but it's half the normal price everywhere else!! And I don't have to pay to park to go there either. :D

    There's allsorts, it brill.

I buy tons of stuff there, I am lucky enough to have one 5 mins away from my work! Their dry catfood is very good value and good brands too, I must spend a fortune in there but I justify it by telling myself I am saving in the long run :)
  • loooooove this store - not been in in a while, should pop in this week really lol

We have a good HomeBargains in Huyton (Liverpool). Also in our small shopping centre, we have Poundstretcher and B&M Bargains - all open on a Sunday for a few hours. Much more sensible time to go shopping - you can take your time and the shelves are very often getting re-stocked as the shop is so quiet - so you get to properly see what is on offer. All these shops are full of ordinary bargains - but some of them even had 'special reductions' as well which were fabulous - socks, undies and pj's for grandchildren stocked up!:j

I had a lovely wander around on Sunday morning followed by a relaxing coffee in our newly opened Costa Coffee (personal treat time!) before braving the onslaught of heading for Wilkinsons and Asda! Needed to call for No.1 son to come and rescue me with all my bargains though :o .

I love HomeBargains aka Quality Save! I buy all my freezer bags in there. Their pour and store soup and sauce bags are half the price of Lakeland!

There's loads of them here in Manchester
